Microlux/DL is a battery-powered diffused blue-white LED light source to be used for the examination of the oral mucosa. This device is used as an aid to improve the visualization of oral lesions. Rinsing with the mild acetic acid solution together with the diffused light from the Microlux DL light guide, acetowhite or leukoplakic lesions become more visible.
