Japanese brand Soundman have created a name for themselves by creating unique clothing with a classical twist. Their latest collections are no different, as the Birmingham Jacket demonstrates. The Birmingham Jacket is an ever-present piece in each collection, and rightly so. The design is based on early workwear, taking particular inspiration from British factory workers' uniforms from the early 20th century. This season's Birmingham is cut from a deep-coloured, high-density cotton moleskin, dyed with indigo and black sulphur dyes. It has been treated with a “Ball Bio” wash to give it a well-worn look, while original metal changeable buttons are painted black and polished.
