The Adams A6 Bb Trumpet - Based on the "Connstellation" The A6, designed in collaboration with Adams Performing Artist Dontae Winslow, is a fantastic combination of old-world craftsmanship with modern improvements. Originally based on the classic “Connstellation” this horn possesses many of the same features of the older instrument, such as the smaller bore (.438/11mm), wide wrap, ergonomics, first-valve trigger assembly, and counterweights. While the original instrument is still quite wonderful we worked at improving the overall sound color palette, the intonation, the centering, and weight balance.
