Oli Wood Chair
The Oli Chair is constructed from solid Basralocus sourced from South America. This exceptionally dense hardwood is prized for its strength, stability, and resistance to rot—qualities that have long made it a standard in marine construction, bridges, and heavy decking. Basralocus wood outperforms teak in both silvering and durability. The frame is assembled using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, with connections left exposed and integral to the build. The wood's warm brown tone and straight grain lend both visual depth and structural assurance. Included with the chair is a quick dry foam cushions upholstered in a flax "linen" made in Belgium from 100% solution dyed acrylic fibers.
