Rundle Dress - Elbe Textiles

The Rundle Dress comes with multiple strap and length options that can be mixed and matched to create your own style. Both views feature a gently curved neckline with a centre front seam and centre front bust darts. The gathered skirt has large inseam pockets and a deep hem. The bodice is fully lined and you have the option of lining the skirt or leaving it as is. This dress has no closures and is designed to be slipped on. View A is midi length with thin, adjustable straps. View B finishes above the knee and has thicker straps. Available in sizes A to N, with a B cup and C/D cup option. This pattern is for woven fabrics. Suitable for intermediate sewers and above. Suitable for intermediate sewers and above. Each sewing pattern comes in a C4 envelope, with an A4 written and illustrated instruction booklet and A0 pattern sheets printed on 80GSM paper. Everything has been printed in Australia. SUGGESTED FABRICS: Main fabric: Mid weight woven fabrics - Washed linen, hemp, cotton, Cupro, sandwashed silk, rayon, Tencel, linen viscose Lining fabric: Light weight woven fabrics NOTIONS: - Matching thread - 1cm (3/8in) strap slider and ring set (View A) - Optional: 3cm (1 1/4in) strap slider and ring set (View B) This width isn’t as readily available so you may need to look at places that sell bag hardware and search for ‘tri glides, adjustable slides and rectangular rings’ FABRIC CONSUMPTION: See chart in images SIZES AVAILABLE: A to N (see size chart in images) FITTING NOTES: This pattern has been drafted for a height of 5’7 The top has two cup size options - a B cup and a C/D cup. To find your sewing cup size, measure your high bust and full bust. The difference between the two measurements will tell you your size. Eg: 2.5cm/1 inch difference = A cup 5cm / 2 inch difference = B cup 7.5cm / 3 inch difference = C cup 10cm / 4 inch difference = D cup and so on I highly recommend making a toile first to work out any fitting alterations you may need, before cutting into your chosen fabric. Make sure the toile fabric is similar in weight/drape to your main fabric.
