Ultimaker Prefeeder Module

Each material bay in the Material Station contains a prefeeder. This is responsible for preloading the filament, forwarding the filament to the printer's feeder, and assisted feeding during the print process. The prefeeder contains four optical sensors (two for each extrusion path), which are used to detect the filament presence during loading and unloading, and also for detecting end-of-filament situations. Note: This prefeeder module does not contain the Bowden tubes to the merger, making this item compatible with both the S series Material Station and Factor 4 (different tube lengths).
