So you want to be a wild thing?

3-5 years Sunday November 29th 2-4 p.m. (registration includes 1 child + 1 grown up) Workshop facilitator: Liana De Francesco (She/Her) Shadow play, wild thing box-mask making and felt crowns with fur and whiskers to get you into a wild thing state-of-mind - Maurice Sendak’s classic picture book will come alive in this wild story session! Registered participants are invited to play in the studio prior to the workshop, at no additional cost. About the facilitator: Liana is a natural craftsperson with a love for seasonal creativity and nature-based materials. With a background in environmental studies and forest conservation, she brings an appreciation for the rhythms of the natural world and the changing seasons into her creative process. She especially enjoys nature crafting, seasonal projects, crocheting, and exploring the many ways people can connect with the outdoors through handmade creations inspired by its everyday wonders. Liana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University and a Master’s Degree in Forest Conservation from Toronto Metropolitan University.
