Charles Stewart “The Great Fire Fraternity” Oil On Canvas

His work is rendered in a flattened, abstract style, in this case with masked Kachina figures in front of a pueblo backdrop with ladders and adobe with ceremonial participants carrying green boughs, in his characteristic saturated orange/red palette.
