Cartier Double C Diamond Charm Pendant 18K White Gold Vintage

Cartier's monogram, in diamonds. The interlocking double C — the mark the house has stamped on its clasps and cases since the early 1900s — cut as a freestanding charm in 18K white gold. Both letters pave-set with round brilliant diamonds, bead-set in a single row along each stroke and out onto the serifs, so every surface that faces forward carries a stone. The Cs overlap in the middle and are open at the center, letting light and the chain behind show through. Flip it over: the back is pierced in a lattice, one cell under each diamond. Nothing solid where it doesn't need to be, and the piece weighs almost nothing on a chain. Hangs from Cartier's articulated lobster clasp bail, which is the point of it. Clip it to a chain, a bracelet, a charm holder. Take it off and move it to something else. The clasp is signed, and the swivel underneath lets the charm turn without twisting the chain. Signed Cartier, stamped 750, numbered. Late 1990s to 2000s production. The pendant measures 1" by .25" wide
