Necklace made of black ribbon agate

A striking necklace made of black banded agate, whose beads are interspersed with white and gray-brown bands; some beads feature concentric rings that resemble eyes. In the Himalayas, banded agate is the material used for Dzi beads, on which such ring-shaped markings are traditionally counted as “eyes.” A silver-colored white metal spring ring fastens the necklace.
