Mid-Century Geometric Card Set
Some cards settle you before you know who they're for. That's what this design does. The linework moves, slightly imperfect, tracing shapes that don't quite close. Underneath it, solid color holds everything still. That tension, between the restless and the grounded, is where the peace comes from. It's not a calm design. It's a balanced one, which is the harder thing to pull off and the more satisfying thing to hold. The palette deepens it. Muted mauve, peach, plum, burgundy, taupe. Not primary colors making noise. Considered tones that give the geometry somewhere warm to land. The whole thing reads mid-century without being a period piece. It has that quality good design from that era always had: it already knew what it was doing. Four designs across 24 cards, blank inside, printed on smooth 100 lb cardstock in Columbus, Ohio. Each one a different arrangement of the same honest vocabulary. 24 A2 envelopes included. We made this because the design stopped us. The lines, the solids, the way they work against each other and then don't. If that's what you felt when you saw it, that feeling is the whole point.
