TAKAHATA FUNICULÌ FUNICULÀ DE KIMURA CHARDONNAY 2024

Made from 100% Chardonnay grown by farmer Mr. Yukio Kimura. His vineyard is located on a steep slope—so steep that it makes us feel we might need a mountain climbing train (Funiculì, Funiculà) to reach it. Bright aromas of tropical fruits, grapefruit and lemonade are complemented by richer nuances of honey and yogurt. Refined fruit concentration and vibrant acidity are seamlessly integrated with the texture from oak maturation resulting in a deeper and more layered palate. In the 2024 vintage, a higher proportion of new oak(50%) was employed to enhance complexity. Limited production: 1,643 bottles.
