This Next Generation 814ce brings some wonderful upgrades to the 800-series Grand Auditorium. With the all-star pairing of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce, this guitar hosts plenty of depth in the bass and higher overtones, leading to a deeply rich sound. Scalloped V-class bracing enhances low-end and projection, and is a fantastic update to the Andy Powers signature design. The new Action Control neck allows for subtle neck angle adjustments, without needing to remove the neck and adjust a shim, making this a great guitar for dialing in the perfect neck/body geometry. This Next Gen model also sports Taylor's new Claria pickup system, which features Tone, Mid-contour, and volume controls, installed in the soundhole, this 9v-powered pickup utilizes an under-saddle piezo system to deliver your guitar's natural voice.
