The Drive G45 SS is the steel-spoke version of Elitewheels' 45 mm gravel series: the same UCI-approved carbon rim and ceramic hubs, paired with Sapim CX-Ray spokes that can be serviced in any bike shop. Compared to the G45 CS, it adds roughly 70 g and slightly softens lateral stiffness; in return, it delivers increased compliance over rough terrain and requires no proprietary tools or parts for maintenance. UCI-certified and tubeless-ready out of the box (rim tape and valves included), it is engineered for mixed terrain, from fast hardpack to technical trails. Key Features 1,370 g per pair: Lowers rotational mass on long climbs and sharp accelerations, maintaining momentum without the penalty of standard gravel wheel weights. Sapim CX-Ray steel spokes: If a spoke breaks on the trail, it can be sourced and replaced anywhere. Steel provides enhanced vibration damping over rough ground compared to carbon spokes. Hybrid ceramic bearings: Lower rolling resistance saves watts over long distances, while the dual-seal hub architecture ensures straightforward cleaning after muddy rides. 24 mm internal width (28–65C compatibility): Optimized for lower pressures and higher compliance, ensuring dependable cornering grip and control over roots and rocks.
