Hoya 'Honey Dew'

The Hoya 'Honey Dew' is a fast growing, hardy, evergreen climber which is popular amongst growers for it's attractive foliage and waxy flowers which can be highly scented. They produce long and hardy runners which are great for support trellises or hanging pots/baskets. They may be pruned to shape depending on your individual aesthetic preferences. To ensure abundant clusters of star-shaped flowers, provide enough bright indirect lighting. NOTE: Hoya will often produce long tendrils that initially remain bare, without foliage. These tendrils will eventually develop leaves, so refrain from cutting these long vines unless you wish to propagate, or are purposefully pruning for aesthetic purposes. CARE: Prefers a warm spot with bright light indoors, or outdoors in a sheltered position. Use a well-draining potting mix and allow soil to dry between watering. Hoya prefer to remain snug in their pots, so refrain from repotting too frequently. Fertilise throughout spring and summer to promote flowering.
