A good unused example circa 1890 Deraedemaeker reprint Southgate caricature No.3 'PEG LEG SAILOR' in black on white wove paper, minor soiling. Caricature depicts scenes of joviality as a result of cheaper postage with a 'Peg Leg' sailor at lower right receiving a letter. There are also celebrations in the background following a naval victory over the Chinese. (Ref 143917).
