1997 Verner Panton Exhibition - Original Vintage Poster

Here is quite a special round poster made for a Verner Panton exhibition which took place in The Trapholt museum 1998-99. The Trapholt museum is located in Kolding (Denmark) and contains a furniture museum with contemporary Danish furniture design and collections of ceramics and textiles. The museum has collection of more than 500 chairs from the 20th century which is the largest collection in Denmark. The 1998 exhibition was called 'Light and colour' and was set up by Verner Panton himself. Unfortunately he died just a few days before the opening. The poster displays circles of colors which Panton was very happy to use. In the center is the iconic "Verner Panton Chair" which is one of the most sold chairs in Denmark.
