The timber is then cut (bookmatched) in our Sydney workshop to ensure the timber remains strong and stable. Next, the timber is cut, machined and sanded. Custom made hinges are then installed and the box is left for 24 hours to cure. We take meticulous care in the finishing process. Each box is hand sanded, a delicate chamfer added and then coated with Danish oil. The internal velvet parts are the final touch finishing off the box.
