This is an antique 1800s Barker & Son teacup and saucer featuring the "Corrella" pattern. The set is made of ironstone with a distinctive black transferware design. The handleless design is typical for cups produced in the mid-1800, Produced by W. Barker & Son, a pottery manufacturer based in Burslem, Staffordshire, England active between 1850 and 1860. The company famously showcased this classical, neo-Grecian design at the 1855 Paris Universal Exhibition.
