Liminal Abstract Strings Vol.1

Crocus Soundware is pleased to present LIMINAL ABSTRACT STRINGS VOL.1, a library of deeply recorded Viola samples – playable using the full version of Kontakt 6.7+. The library’s articulations are aleatoric, long and evolving, with the performer imparting character and movement into each sample. This library focuses on creative and extended playing techniques, aiming to capture the drama of the bow’s collision with string. The sample banks are diverse in their timbre, and provide useful variety. They include solo performances, small ensembles, and large 20+ performer sections.
