The supplied full-scale mounting template helps establish the cutout and fastener locations. Disconnect all batteries and remove power from the electrical system. Select a flat mounting location with adequate front and rear clearance. Inspect behind the panel for wiring, fuel lines, hydraulic hoses, structural members, and other equipment. Position the mounting template and confirm that it is printed at 100% / Actual Size. Verify the printed scale before drilling or cutting. Mark the approximately 4-inch cutout and mounting-hole locations. Cut the opening using tools and procedures appropriate for the boat's construction. Dry-fit the recessed mount and battery switch before drilling the final fastener holes. Install the battery switch into the recessed mount. Secure the mount using the supplied corrosion-resistant hardware. Connect and support the battery cables according to the battery switch manufacturer's instructions.
