Created by perfumer Nicolas Bonneville, it opens with honeyed mimosa and bergamot before blooming into English violet and cedarwood, settling into a rich, irreverent base of agarwood, guaiac wood, patchouli and leather. Bonneville wanted to create an unexpected pairing of something inherently English with something from a different part of the world — violet's earthy green naturality held against oud's depth, creating a harmony of deep, leathery sensuality.
