Produced for Air France in 1968, this is one of a collection of 14 posters which promoted some of the airline's most popular destinations. Designer Georges Mathieu gained an international reputation in the 1950s as a leading Abstract Expressionist. In excellent condition this poster will make a decorative addition to any interior. Since 1933, Air France has had a long and illustrious history producing bold and eye-catching advertising campaigns.
