It sits at the natural waist and holds there through the day, so there is no sliding down and no gap at the back when you sit. Two real pockets. Deep enough for a phone, keys and a card - not stitched on for show. 100% cotton corduroy. Breathes in a way synthetic blends do not, so it stays warm without turning clammy indoors. A wide leg that drapes. Falls straight from the hip and skims the leg rather than clinging, so it works over flats or a low boot.
