Gregorian Chant, created by Mary McDonald, features large Renaissance-style characters and small square notes with latin hymns. To keep a good flow that allows for seamless repeats, four hymns - two shorter and two longer - are featured here. As stated by the artist, "I loved the idea of Ave Maria which was originally mentioned on the first suggested post about chant - so that was a must! I decided to use three other Marian hymns to keep it all Marian. This design includes Ave Maria, Salve Regina, Memorare, and Regina Cæli. All of these chants are accurate and public domain. I tried to preserve as much of the well-worn and well-loved look to the manuscripts[...]". The background is an off-white with black musical notations and lyrics, along with touches of blue, red, orange, and yellow in the other components of the design. We hope you love this design as much as we do! Reverse: A bronze/ dark brown background with gold lettering and music with light blue and gold accents. Please remember that the reverse will have the music and lettering backwards A simple hem folded in opposite directions top and bottom helps to determine top and bottom rails for new babywearers.
