with Maddy Jiao July 26 | August 16 | September 20 1:30 - 4:00pm Good Food Sundays, Mandala Park --------------------------------- In this 3-part series, we will explore the different avenues on how we can leverage our food to fuel our bodies, boost our energy, support our cognition, and keep us going throughout the day. Each session will uncover various concepts related to food and energy. In Part 1, we will focus on optimizing food choices, learning about the best foods to consume to support our body’s energy systems. We’ll also share valuable tips on how to build meals that promote stable energy levels and reduce mid-day energy dips. Part 2 will explore how daily rhythms and food timing relate to our energy flow. We will also talk about energy-stimulating foods (ex. caffeinated drinks) —what the best and worst kinds are, and how to use them strategically to boost energy and productivity. Finally, in Part 3, we will touch on the mental and emotional aspects of eating and how this impacts our energy. We’ll delve into the significance of experiencing joy and pleasure during meals and explore practical strategies to enhance these experiences.
