This Ricefish is called Orange Youhiki Medaka This is an excellent beginner fish, it is one of the hardiest available species and has a fantastic personality. They are very peaceful and active in the aquarium, always searching around occupying all areas of the aquarium if there is lots to explore Planted tanks are ideal for them. Ricefish are cool water species and do not require a heater and their filter requirements are minimal. They do not like much water flow in the aquarium so a sponge filter is the way to go.
