Hungarian Display Cabinet / Sideboard, Late 1930s – Early 1940s

A rare Hungarian display cabinet from the late 1930s to early 1940s, executed in beautifully figured walnut veneer. Its clean architectural lines reflect the transition from Art Deco to early Modernism. The upper section features the original sliding glass doors and adjustable display shelves, while the lower section offers two drawers and a spacious two-door cabinet with shelving. The piece retains its original key, original glass panels, and distinctive solid walnut turned circular handles. The exact designer and manufacturer are currently under research. An elegant and highly functional cabinet, ideal for collectors and refined vintage interiors.
