Gold Brocade (Kinran) - Cherry Blossom Mist
[Product description] Kinran (gold brocade) has been woven mainly in Nishijin, Kyoto. Kinran is a type of weaving in which gold and silver threads are mixed with colored threads as weft, and woven in such a way that a pattern emerges. Brocade has been widely used for Japanese products in the past as a purely Japanese style, but nowadays it is used in a variety of scenes, including interior decoration, transcending both Japan and the West. Brocade, which is very popular in our stores, is also very Kyoto-like and makes a great souvenir or gift. It would be wonderful to make an original red seal book. The polyester material is also reasonably priced. *Please note that the threads tend to fray when cut due to the nature of the fabric. *Although the material is washable, we recommend hand washing or partial washing because it is a delicate fabric. Commercial OK [Material] 100% Polyester Made in Japan [Fabric width] Approx. 70cm
