Limited Edition Eau de Parfum Oak Tree is built around the idea of permanence. Inspired by the presence of trees as silent witnesses to human life, the fragrance draws on the materials and textures that have shaped both landscape and culture over time. Created in collaboration with HYLLA Hotel in Lijiang, the composition takes its name from a century-old oak tree known as “Xupai,” a living symbol of continuity and quiet strength. The fragrance reflects this through a structure centred on wood, resin and earth. Oakmoss introduces a deep, forested tone, grounded in soil and shadow, while cypress and guaiac wood bring a dry, structured clarity. Resins move through the composition in two directions. Frankincense and fir lend a cool, green lift, while labdanum adds warmth, smoke and a subtle leathery depth. Composed by Frank Voelkl, the structure balances natural woods and resins from across the world, creating a fragrance that feels both grounded and expansive. This is a limited edition release, presented in a specially designed wooden box that reflects the material language of the fragrance itself.
