Katrine Birkenwasser's Cross Sea Shawl is not only a gorgeous addition to any wardrobe, it's also extremely fun to knit! You start small, with a triangle of striped garter stitch, and gradually add on interlocking sections in different colour combinations until you arrive at the lace border that’s mimicking the foam of waves breaking at the shore. We love the triangular shape and generous size – it works well draped over your shoulders or worn bandana-style around your neck. And the possibilities for colour combinations are endless with our 25 shades of Seafarer Lace! Our sample, knit by Sally-Anne, is worked up in two coral shades (Pisces and Calypso), grounded by the undyed Moby Dick. We've put together four other colour combinations, taking full advantage of the rainbow palette of Seafarer!
