Lusitania (Geisha), Colombia

Lusitania comes from Finca Lusitania, located in the northern region of Valle del Cauca, in the municipality of Caicedonia, Colombia, at an altitude between 1,450 and 1,650 masl, in the foothills of the Central Mountain Range. The farm has been managed by the Macías family for four generations, establishing itself as one of the region’s long-standing coffee estates. Today, Consuelo and Javier Macías continue to develop the project with a strong focus on quality and sustainability, maintaining responsible agricultural practices and a long-term vision. In recent years, the work has evolved with the involvement of Alejandro Macías, Colombian Cup Taster Champion 2023, who leads the development of new varieties and the refinement of harvesting and fermentation processes, aiming to position their coffees in international specialty markets. The result is a coffee that reflects both the farm’s tradition and its technical evolution, combining decades of experience with a contemporary approach to quality and precision.
