Wilson Reading System IV, WADE Sheets
The Wilson® Assessment of Decoding and Encoding (WADE) is a curriculum-based measure which specifically assesses a student’s decoding and encoding (spelling) skills correlated to the word structures taught in Wilson Reading System®. The WADE is aligned to the scope and sequence of the Wilson Reading System in order to both guide instruction and determine mastery. The Wilson Reading System (WRS) is a structured literacy program designed to help struggling readers, particularly those with dyslexia, develop foundational reading and spelling skills by teaching the structure of the English language through a multisensory approach, focusing on decoding, encoding, and morphology, to improve their fluency and comprehension abilities across all reading levels, from second grade through adulthood; essentially aiming to equip students with the tools to decode and spell words accurately and efficiently. As the only commercially available remedial reading program adapted for students with low vision or blindness, this is an important tool for TVIs and reading specialists. Features Wilson Reading System (WRS) is the flagship program of Wilson Language Training® and the foundation of all other Wilson® programs. The Tier 3 Structured Literacy program is based on phonological-coding research and Orton-Gillingham principles. WRS supports college- and career-readiness standards by providing students who have a language-based learning disability with the foundational and language skills that are necessary to access grade-level text. This comprehensive program can follow students from grade to grade, as needed. Specs Weight:2.05 lbs Dimensions:12 × 9 × 1.5 in
