Flynn Shawl (by Maxim Cyr)
This pattern is available in English and in French as a digital download. Inspired by the sharp, graphic language of London’s high-street fashion, the Flynn Shawl by Maxim Cyr translates the striking impact of geometric shapes into a fluid accessory. This design is built for those who love the impact of colourwork but want the effortless feel of a lightweight and drapey shawl. Its all-over motif is a blank canvas for high-contrast colour pairings. It features two distinct sections worked in a modular fashion: you will start by knitting the first section, then put the live stitches on hold. Next, you will pick up stitches from the right edge of the first section to work the second section sideways, using a combination of increases and decreases for shaping. Once both sections are complete, you will work an i-cord border all around the shawl for a neat, finished edge. Looking for yarn inspiration? Explore our collection of kits for the Flynn Shawl.
