Class Intarsia Bliss-Bloss Shawl

Class Date Thursday April 16th 3 - 5 pm Skill Level: Intermediate Skill Details: We will learn intarsia in this class while creating a Bliss-Bloss Shawl. There is homework to be completed prior to class. Please knit the increase section until 36 sts is reached. For class we will focus on the Smallest size but you may choose a larger size if you'd like. For the Flower intarsia, you will be working up to five separate color sections per row. Unlike stranded knitting where the colors are carried across the row, when changing colors, you will drop one strand of yarn and leave it hanging for use in the following row. We will focus on proper techniques to trap the yarn. Basic stitches/techniques required: Knit, Purl, K2tog, KFB, slip stitches purlwise. Requirements: DK weight C1: 186 (235, 315) yd C2: 30 (90, 150) yd C3: 10 (30, 50) yd Per single Flower: 30 yd Flower Centre: 10 yd US 8 24 -32" Class includes Instruction and pattern.
