Baume & Mercier # 32000 Dual Time Zone 18K Gold Wristwatch Understated elegance at its finest! This dual time zone men’s watch from the 70’s by Baume & Mercier is just beautiful. Housed in a SOLID 18K GOLD case are TWIN SIGNED SWISS MOVEMENTS that power each of the separate sections of the dial, forming the dual time-zone display. This 18k gold case is a very nice size, measuring 28.75 across w/o the crowns and 33.7 mm from lug tip to lug tip. As you’ll see in the photos, the finish on this case is outstanding. And as close to original as possible. Every edge is nice and sharp, and all of the straight grained/polished edges look wonderful. There is some *very* light surface scuffs on the case from what looks like just placing the watch down on a solid surface. The high polish crowns are original and look great. The original sapphire crystal is perfect! The signed tone blue and gold dial has its original finish and is in very good, original condition. There are a couple of very small marks on the dial, but these do not take away from the wonderful look. Both sets of frosted finish gold hands are original. The Swiss made, manual-wind movements are signed Baume & Mercier and feature 17 jewels and shockproofing. These gilt movements are VERY nicely finished. Both movements have been fully serviced and are keeping very good time. We only *very* lightly refinished the case to clean up some minor surface scratches and keep the finish as original as possible. We’ve installed a brand new, hand made Italian Alligator strap. It is our best quality strap. One last thing, it comes with its original signed B&M buckle. Simply stunning!
