For this reason, I created this mala not simply as a natural gemstone necklace, but as a spiritual companion for those stepping into a new phase of life, searching for direction, or choosing to move forward with greater awareness. This mala is made with natural 8 mm gray moonstone from Sri Lanka, black moonstone, and landscape jasper, and is finished with a Ganesha pendant in hypoallergenic alloy. Ganesha is the deity of thresholds, new beginnings, discernment, and the removal of obstacles. He is often invoked when something new is beginning, when confusion needs to give way to clarity, or when fear, resistance, or self-sabotage stand in the way of authentic movement.
