Stand is a sculptural piece that explores balance, stillness, and quiet power. Hand-built in grey grogged stoneware and finished with a white slip that’s been washed back, the surface remains soft and tactile, revealing the texture of the clay beneath. The curved, cross-like form centres around a small aperture, suggesting movement and openness within a grounded, balanced shape. Its posture feels both calm and assertive, echoing the body without defining it. Rooted in a slow, meditative making process, Stand continues a sculptural language that values simplicity, form, and presence. Suitable for indoor and outdoor display.
