Permanent Style Magazine Issue 3
This third issue has a decidedly French flavour. The cover story is a magazine writing about a magazine: PS talking to L'Etiquette, the founders of which have made fashion so much more relatable in France over the past decade. It's about menswear today, and about how clothes mirror culture. The coverage overall has expanded to include more lifestyle pieces, such as a look at the most significant car designs of the past - but also maintains a focus on craft, whether that's a tour around the last remaining craftsmen in the UK, or a team trip to India visiting some of the finest workshops in the world. English journalist Simon Crompton is best known in the world of menswear as the creator of the wildly successful Permanent Style blog. Much of the reason for the blog’s success is due to the fact that Crompton started from the very position that his countless readers are in. As a man who enjoyed the finer things, but was constantly finding himself assailed by marketing and PR, Crompton decided to sort the wheat from the chaff, and tell everyone about it along the way.
