PPCC / Go Itami

写真家 伊丹豪（Go Itami）の作品集。本書は、作家が2009年から2022年にかけて撮影した写真で構成されています。この期間、作品集『study』『this year‘s model』『photocopy』そして2022年に『DonQuixote』（いずれも版元はRondade）を制作してきた作者による、既刊の作品集に掲載されなかった写真をまとめたもの。「作品集への掲載が作品の優劣と直結するものではないものの、結果として未発表作品が積み重なっていく」というジレンマに対し、伊丹は自ら出版を手がけるという実践的な方法でその課題に向き合いました。ブックデザインは「A5判型、可能な限りのページ数」という作家からのオーダーを受け、グラフィックデザイナー松田洋和（Hirokazu Matsuda）によって設計されたもの。印刷は八紘美術。表紙に記された「NUMBER:1」は、PPCCがシリーズとして今後継続して制作されることを示唆しています。272部限定。 A photobook by photographer Go Itami. This volume comprises photographs taken by the artist between 2009 and 2022. During this period, Itami produced the monographs study, this year's model, photocopy, and, in 2022, DonQuixote (all published by Rondade). This book serves as a compilation of images that were omitted from these previously published works. Itami tackles the dilemma wherein "inclusion in a photobook does not necessarily equate to the merit of the work, yet unpublished pieces inevitably accumulate," resolving this issue practically by taking matters into his own hands through self-publishing. The book design was conceived by graphic designer Hirokazu Matsuda, responding to the artist's brief for "an A5 format with the maximum possible number of pages." Printed by Hakkou Bijyutu. The inscription "NUMBER:1" on the cover indicates that PPCC will continue as an ongoing series.
