McQueen A2 Leather Jacket Brown

Steve McQueen wore the A-2 flight jacket as Hilts, "The Cooler King", in The Great Escape. Originally designed for American airmen, the A-2 had already earned its place in military history. McQueen made it part of one of cinema's most enduring looks. This is our interpretation in partnership with The McQueen Estate. Cut from genuine cow leather and given a vintage wash, it arrives already broken in, creased and burnished, the way good leather should be. The standing collar fastens with an antique brass hook-and-bar closure, while a leather placket covers the centre-front zip. Military epaulettes, oversized patch pockets and a ball-puller chest zip complete the authentic silhouette. Like the original, it's a jacket that looks better worn than stored. The vintage treatment gives every piece the character of a well-travelled favourite from day one, but the real story begins when you make it your own.
