Cider Club: Wading In 2022 7.7%

Wading In is our barrel aged, wild fermented Egremont Russet. This vintage spent 14 months in oak, and then allowed to evolve under cork for two years prior to release. It pours a pale straw colour and smells initially of warm, ripe yellow apples picked straight from the tree, soon joined peach, sweet, wood, honey, blossom flowers. It's a juicy mouthfeel too, all charred pineapple, succulent acid, fennel, lemon oil, citrus, that classic nutty Egremont finish. This is a super versatile cider but we lean toward seafood and vegetarian dishes for the best matches. 7.7%
