When inserting the protector into your jacket's back protector pocket, the embossed side, featuring the ventilation holes, directional arrow and CE/UKCA markings, should face outward, away from the body. The smooth side should face towards the wearer. The top arrow embossed on the insert should point upward towards the collar of the jacket.
