KNIGHTS TEMPLAR SWORD, LATE 19TH CENTURY

Late 19th century. Plated hilt crisply detailed. Ivory grip with cross and owner’s monogram. 29 ¾ double edged blade decorated 2/3 its length with knights, crusades battle scenes, trophies of arms and Memento Mori (skull and crossed bones). Light oxidation at the forte, The rest crisp and bright.
