The aromatic herbs (verbena and basil) display an intense green in the garden, and the citrus fruits (bergamot, tangerine, petitgrain) inundate us with their acidulous freshness. When biting into a tomato from the garden, the crisp green of the leaves mingles with the sun-drenched pulp of the fruit. A few juniper berries bring their crystalline light to this landscape where the noble irises are beginning to blossom...
