Winmau - Sniper Style 3 - 90% Tungsten Darts The Sniper, worked out on a 3D model first Winmau developed Style 3 by modelling the grip configuration digitally before cutting metal - working out where the fingers actually land and what each zone needs to do, rather than adding texture and hoping. The result is a barrel that gives you a lot of feedback without ever fighting the release, which is the balance most grip-heavy darts get wrong in one direction or the other. A short, wide torpedo The barrel is 48.3mm - noticeably shorter than most - and swells to 7.6mm at its widest before tapering away to 5.1mm at the tail. That puts a lot of mass in a short space and leaves a slim rear section, so the dart sits forward in the hand and clears the way for the next one.
