Overview The Master Compressor Diving GMT in Q187T670 revives Jaeger-LeCoultre's historic compressor case system, presented in spring 2007 as a limited edition of 1,500 pieces. The defining feature is the crown itself: the patented compressor mechanism reseals hermetically with a quarter turn rather than a conventional screw-down system, engineered for real depth rather than as a styling cue. The case is 44mm Grade 5 titanium, 13mm thick, with a lug-to-lug of 52.2mm (54.9mm including the solid end links) and a 22mm lug width. The unidirectional Grade 5 titanium bezel carries a circular satin finish, polished five-minute indices, black markers at 15, 30 and 45 minutes, and an oversized luminescent triangle. The matte black dial has an anti-glare finish with applied white gold indices and numerals, Super-LumiNova on the hands, indices and bezel pip. Functions include an independently adjustable jumping local hour hand for GMT use, a 24-hour reference-time subdial at 9 o'clock, a date aperture, and a constant-operation indicator at 6 o'clock, alternating white and blue to satisfy ISO 6425 dive watch standards. The solid screw-down caseback is engraved with the Master 1,000 Hours Control mark. The bracelet is a hybrid rubber construction with a titanium core, closed with a double-deployant clasp with a four-trigger release and dual-sided micro-extension. Water resistance is 1,000 metres. The movement is the Calibre 975D, nicknamed the "Autotractor," JLC's self-winding automatic with unidirectional winding on ceramic ball bearings, a full balance bridge with a free-sprung variable-inertia balance wheel, 29 jewels, running at 28,800 vph with hacking seconds. Power reserve is approximately 48 hours, tested under JLC's own Master 1,000 Hours Control protocol.
