Santa Bárbara Pacas
The Heart of Santa Bárbara Some of our favorite coffees come from Santa Bárbara, Honduras, a region that has earned worldwide recognition through the work of its producers and the team at Beneficio San Vicente. We sourced this coffee through Benjamín Paz, whose family has helped shape Santa Bárbara’s reputation in specialty coffee, and Ariel Gómez, who works alongside producers throughout the harvest to identify exceptional lots and connect them with roasters around the world. Their commitment to quality and long-term relationships is reflected in every coffee they export. Of all the varieties grown in the region, Pacas has become our favorite. This lot is a carefully selected blend of Pacas micro-lots from six small producers farming the slopes of Santa Bárbara Mountain, where the unique microclimate consistently produces coffees with remarkable sweetness and balance. Location: Santa Bárbara, Honduras Producers: José Castellanos, Miguel Moreno, Carlos Ramos, Orlando Moreno, Juan A. Fernandez, Samuel Sagastume Varietal: Pacas Process: Fully washed Altitude: 1,400 - 1,600 mts.
