The straight rye begins in new American oak before its distinctive finish in barrels seasoned with Egyptian black honey and tiger nut, layering molasses, honey, toasted almond, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking spice, and black pepper over the whiskey's rye-driven structure. Every bottle is drawn from a single barrel and bottled at proof, so strength varies slightly from barrel to barrel between 102.6 and 105 proof.
