Miguel Torres Cordillera Vigno Carignan (Chile)
This Chilean Carignan might be your new undiscovered favourite. Gorgeously concentrated ripe bramble fruit flavours. Floral and fruity with notes of toasty oak, leather, violet, bay leaf and mint. Every morning in the Maule Valley, the sun rises over the Andes, uniting land and vine. These rain-fed vineyards hold some of the oldest Carignan vines in the world, many of them dating back more than 80 years. The age of these vines increases the flavour concentration of each grape. Pair this with spice-rubbed braised beef, slowly cooked, or a herby, Mediterrenean vegetable and bean stew. Vintages may vary. Please contact us if you are looking for a specific vintage.
